Healing Story #5 - "I'll Take a Swing at you!"

I am writing about 10 people who God touched through my outreach of healing. This was a journey to see if I could do what I saw Todd White and Pete Cabrera Jr. do through their healing videos. These people I met are mostly strangers I met in public doing normal things like shopping, working-out, and going out to dinner. I am posting these testimonies to give Glory to God. I will answer questions about the story but will not debate theology. I’m posting 1 story per day for 10 days. After that I will start posting videos of the actual encounters I have on the streets, malls, stores, and restaurants.

We needed some bread, milk, cheese, and bacon for the house so I ran to Albertson's to get some quick groceries.  The night before I got to see God heal my brother-in-law from 18 years of 10 out of 10 back pain so my faith was full to the brim.  I felt the Holy Spirit tell me that I was in for a "hostile encounter".  My brain registered that my spirit heard that but at the moment of walking through the store, I didn't think much about it.  I saw a man in a motorized wheel chair in the back by the deli counter and I knew that I could pray for him.  After getting the milk I went over to him and asked what happened to him.  He replied very defensively, "Why do you want to know?"  I told him that I am a believer in Jesus Christ and that I wanted to pray for him to be healed.  He asked how was he going to be healed, by whose name?  I answered that it would be by the name of Jesus that he would be healed.  He laughed in my face and said by no means would he be healed.  I asked him what was wrong and he said he used to be a truck driver and hurt his knee getting out of the truck a couple of years back.  He had a knee brace on and you could tell he was in pain.  I told him that I fully expected him to be healed, and told him what happened to my brother-in-law last night and how God touched him.  I had a boldness rise up in me and said that I was definitely sure that he would be healed.  I didn't know it at the time, but he was with 2 other friends who were ordering food from the deli counter.  The guy in the motorized wheel chair called to his friends and he mockingly told them that this guy (me) wanted to pray for him to get healed.  His friend said to the guy in the wheel chair, "Do you think you will be healed?"  The guy in the chair responded, "Hell No!"  and they both laughed and high-fived each other.  Gulp!  I said no matter what you think, God can heal you right now.  His friends now gathered around us and were intently listening to the conversation.  I asked him his name and he said it was Frank.  He then looked at me said, "Dude, if you hurt me I will take a swing at you right now.  In front of all of these people I will take a swing at you right now!"  I said that I was here to pray for his leg, not to hurt it.  I prayed in the name of Jesus that all pain would leave his leg and that he would be restored in the name of Jesus.  I asked him to try it out and to try to do something he couldn't do before.  He  sort of stood up a little for a second and then sat down again. He said that nothing happened and that he was still in pain.  He said he wanted my number to call me to laugh at me and tell me he didn't get healed.  At this point his friends chimed in and said that they were the lost tribe of Israel of African descent.  He went on a four minute diatribe about all sorts of things related to the African tribe of Israelis.  At the end, when he finished he said that he could tell I was a good guy and that even though we don't believe all the same things that he felt he could work together with someone like me.  I didn't know what to say.  I thanked Frank for not taking a swing at me and that I believed he would still be touched by God.  My nerves were racked after that and I just left the store shortly after that.  I felt that God spoke to me that He was still going to heal him and that I would run into him again, and he would be healed.  That was a very different encounter without the healing being displayed at the moment of prayer.  I believe that this will come to pass in the Name of Jesus.

Healing Story #4 - Back Injury of 14 years Healed

After praying for the lady in Story #2 (whom I need to call this week to see how she is doing), I went out to dinner with my wife, sister-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law.  After we settled in I shared the stories that had happened so far and that I felt that the Holy Spirit wanted me to get 10 stories together before I shared any of them on FB or social media.  They were in awe about how God blessed that lady without me even praying for her and the tangible presence of God was on that conversation I was having with them.  At that moment, my brother-in-law said that he felt the Holy Spirit tell him that he was going to be one of the 10 people healed and that God wanted him to ask me to pray for him there in the restaurant.  He was initially really hesitant about it because he didn't want to make a scene and have people stop and stare at them.  He then shared with the table what he felt God wanted him to do and I said OK lets do it!  My brother-in-law explained that he had hurt his back really bad when he was 14 years old by jumping out a high window in a industrial building.  It had never been the same since and he lived in constant pain for over 18 years.  He could not pick up anything off the floor and the pain was at a level 10 out of 10 all the time.  He had just gotten used to it being that way.  I laid my hand on his back and commanded the pain to leave and I felt like the enemy had been attacking him through this injury and  making it worse.  So I commanded in the name of Jesus for all demonic and enemy attacks to stop in the name and authority of Jesus Christ.  He said that all the pain drained out of his body and that it felt much much better!  He was totally surprised by this healing and was completely overjoyed.  I then asked him to do something he couldn't do before, and mentioned that he couldn't bend at the waist to pick something up off the floor.  I told him to try it out, and at first he didn't want to.  But then he dropped a napkin off the table and picked it up off the floor without any pain!  God totally restored his back from 18 years of constant pain!  Praise God for his mercy and kindness!!

Healing Story #3 - Legs Grow out in Seattle Washington

My wife's aunt had asked us to come to a special service hosting some ministers from Texas.  We agreed to come and bring our sound system so that we can have microphones and guitars for worship.  We drove out to meet them and got there right on time, just as the service was starting at 6:30 p.m.  The service started off great and then the preaching began.  It was a great service full of the power of God and of good solid preaching.  The minister gave several prophetic words, prayed for others for their healing, and finally called out for anyone who had back pain to come forward.  He explained that often times when you have chronic lower back pain that it is actually because one leg is shorter than the other one and you are walking off balanced.  There were two women who came up and responded to the prayer, one named Isabel and one named Rosie.  Isabel was prayed for first and he had her sit down on a chair and extend her legs with her heels touching.  I came around from the side and you could see that one heel was shorter by 1 inch than the other heel.  He commanded that the short leg grow, and then it began to grow , grow , grow!!  She was instantly healed of many years of back pain!  The leg grew out within 1-2 seconds as it did not take very long at all.
Then it was Rosie's turn, she sat down and began to receive her prayer.  Her legs were extended and her heels were about 1.5 inches off!  Even farther! He asked her if she was ready and she said yes.  He commanded the short leg to grow and off it went, growing and growing until it reached the other heel.  She had back pain for over 9 years and was constantly seeing a chiropractor to help her.  The chiropractor confirmed earlier in her treatments that one leg was shorter than the other leg.

What a great miracle in the name of Jesus!!

Healing Story #2 - Woman at Howard Amon Park Richland, WA

These people I met are mostly strangers I met in public doing normal things like shopping, working-out, and going out to dinner. I am posting these testimonies to give Glory to God. I was praying in the morning of what to do with my day and I felt the Spirit of the Lord show me a picture of the wading pool at Howard Amon Park in Richland, WA. I got the sense that I would meet a woman there and that God would do something. He didn't give me any specifics on the issue or who or what she would look like. So i packed up the boys and brought lots of clothes, snacks, drinks, and bathing suits. We pulled up to the park and I let the boys out and off they went, running to the park. They were off climbing, running, jumping, and riding the tire zip line. I stood there for awhile and there was a woman calling out for her daughter. She made two laps around the jungle gym and she couldn't find her daughter. I told her I would help her look for her lost child, and related that we had lost our son once too at Disneyland. We looked at a different part of the park a little ways away and she found her daughter right away. I introduced myself to her and gave her a new testament. We made friends and I asked her to come to church and then we said goodbye. That was a good encounter but it wasn't what I was looking for. The boys were ready to go to the pool and they led the way. I quickly changed them and found a spot on the bench next to the wading pool. I didn't see any lady and so I started making friends with a guy there watching his kids. He was very friendly and after some time I began to get a sense that God wanted to bless him. I asked him if I could pray for him and began to pray and say what I heard the Lord telling me about him. He was blessed by the prayer and we continued talking and getting to know each other. At that time an older woman came up to me asking the time. I told her it was 4:45 p.m. and then my memory kicked in and I wondered if she could be the woman that God wanted to bless. I walked over to her and struck up a conversation with her about how things were going. She mentioned that her son's wife just died last Sunday as the woman hit her head on the concrete outside a pool and drowned in the pool. She continued that she hadn't seen her son in over 12 years and had never met her grandson. She was going through a tough time and I asked her If I could pray for her. I laid my hand on her shoulder and prayed for reconciliation and for forgiveness to win the day in her relationships and that God would restore all things back to her. She was blessed by the prayer and I asked her if she had any pain in her body. She told me that she has a sciatic nerve issue running down her leg. I asked her what her pain level was and she said it was very great when she stands for some time. Right now she said it was a level 3 as she had been sitting on the bench. I asked her to pray for her healing, and she said, "Like a miracle?" I said yes!! So she stood up and I commanded the pain to go and asked for the power of God to touch her. I asked if she felt anything and she said no nothing happened. I was bummed and said I would continue to pray for her. I told her the reason that I prayed for her and sought her out was that earlier in the day I felt the Lord sent me to this pool to meet a woman who God wanted to bless. Immediately the Power of God hit her like a thunderbolt and she began to shake and quake under the power of God. She asked me if I felt that power, and then I realized that God was touching her. The power of God began to make her laugh and laugh and laugh!!! I commanded the power of God to bless her over and over again. She was being blasted again and again and we both began to laugh and laugh like we were in anointed conference at church!! I asked her if the pain was still there and she said yes, so I commanded the pain to leave and she confirmed that all pain left her body. Praise God!! The funny thing was that nothing happened until I told her what God showed me about meeting a woman at the pool. It was all God as it even surprised me!! God is awesome!!

Healing Story #1

My wife and I were out and about with the kids in the back of the car, when we realized we needed some more things from Costco.  We always buy toilet paper, paper plates, etc there for the good price breaks they offer.  I had a list of about 8 things to quickly grab while my wife and the kids waited in the parking lot.  I had entered into a new mindset about praying for the sick (injured, disabled, sick, etc) whenever I see them to see how the Kingdom of God could break in at any moment.  As I entered the store i saw a kid in a wheel chair and I immediately tensed up.  I watched him go by in the corner of my eye and I thought to myself, I am not ready for this yet.  I immediately felt a power sensation in my right hand and had the gift of faith that I knew the Holy Spirit wanted to heal.  The power on my hand did not dissipate or go away.  To describe the power, it felt like a surge of electricity hovering on my right hand, and my right hand alone.  At the same time, my spirit came into alignment with the Holy Spirit and put my mind frame in the proper perspective.  I continued on down the long aisle towards the produce section where I knew I had to get some grapes.  I saw a woman with a long leg brace on and I immediately made a U-Turn and started talking to her.  I noticed in myself that I was calm and even a little joyful.  Normally I would feel a weight in my stomach that would make me feel very anxious or worried.  But this time, I was surprised as I was talking out loud to her that I felt good and calm.  I asked her what happened to her leg and she said she really was a bus driver and not a full-time employee at Costco.  She continued that she was giving the kids a demonstration of how to use the emergency chute out the back of the bus.  She explained that it was like the inflatable slides they have on planes to let the people slide out.  As she jumped onto the inflatable slide she hit the slide and immediately tore her tendons in that leg.  She described that she did everything right, however her body did not respond as intended.  I told her I was a Christian pastor and that I wanted to pray healing over her leg.  She got skeptical and asked which church I was part of.  I explained that my wife and I are planting a church in Richland by the BMW dealership and it is called ASCEND Church and Apostolic Center.  She said it was ok for me to pray for her leg.  I thanked the Father for her and her life and then I commanded the pain to leave her leg in the name of Jesus.  That was all.  She said that before the prayer her pain was a 10 out of 10 level and that she used a scooter to get around, pushing on her good leg for the "engine".  I asked her what her pain was and she said it dropped to a level 5.  Cut in half immediately.  I asked to pray again to reduce it all the way down.  At this point she was getting confused as the pain was dropping rapidly.  I asked her what it was now after the second time.  She said about a 2.  I said, "Let's get this thing all the way down to 0!".  I commanded a third time and the pain completely left her leg.  She put her walker/scooter away and started walking normally on the once injured leg.  She was totally confused as to what just happened and wouldn't look at me anymore as she talked with me.  I said it was Jesus who healed her leg as Jesus lives inside me as I am a born-again Christian.  I told her Jesus loves her and that He is amazing!  She agreed, I blessed her and continued shopping.  As I was leaving I came back into her section and asked her how she was doing.  She said it was still good and the pain totally left her.  I told her I loved her in Jesus name and left the store.
