Well Hello There!!

HI!

We have many new businesses to showcase in Kitale.  I have uploaded some new ideas and their business plans, and I believe that there are some real winners involved with this batch.  2 businesses are run by the pastor's wives in the area and 30 have joined together to form a construction company.  How cool is that?!
They are looking to become the premiere supplier in the Kitale region for construction materials and tools.  Your investment can make that happen.  If you have a heart for missions but can't go, consider this option to expand the kingdom of God.  By supporting a business in Kenya you are helping Kenyans create jobs and start churches from the income that these jobs supply.  And here at GROWTH Group we pool those resources to eventually become self-sustainable.  That's right, now more money coming in from the outside.  It's capitalism with a purpose, a Kindgom Mindset.

Check out the updated website at www.growth4africa.com and click on the business page to see the new Kitale businesses.  With your help we can get these off the ground and running.  contact info@growth4africa.com to get involved and perhaps go and see what your money has started (one of these days :) ).

First Blog Ever!

This is the first Blog ever for GROWTH Group.   Welcome!

I'll get right down to business.

1. There is a GROWTH Group Established for the two cities that we are working with in Kenya.  See the leadership page for more on Edward and Nancy Khaoya from Kitale along with John and Rhoda Abwao from Kisumu.  Each has a GROWTH entity set up for their city and each have a sizable amount of churches and businesses under their leadership.

2. I am working to get all the business interviews uploaded and on to the website.  There is at least 100+ more business proposals to load and to sort through.  The problem I am having is that it is hard to match the business video interviews to the actual business plans......If my Swahili was only better...sigh.  :)

3. I am working with SkyWay Church  on going to India!! They have liked the amount of progress we have made in Kenya and want to build on that approach in the Khummam district (link to where that is............Khummam District Map).  We are working on getting all the details sorted, but I will be casting the vision to around 500 pastors in that region and will be expanding to the website www.growth4africa.com soon!

4.  Working on the logos for GROWTH Group Inc !!  Your thoughts are welcome.  Here is a link to the perspective logos we are looking at.  Logo Contest for GROWTH Group!!  Your thoughts are appreaciated.

5.  John Abwao in Kismu just bought more chickens  See pictures below.  John's Business is doing well.  Help support him if you will?
